My father always told me: 'Do you want to be a criminal?
So, drop your gun and pick up a pen.
Because the real criminals are not you ... '

Peppe De Vincentis, ex-convict (master of a thousand robberies and a thousand thefts, with 30 years in prison behind him) today playwright and actor, and Vincenzo Imperatore, ex-banking manager (first 'deep throat' of the Italian financial system, after almost 25 years in the service of the main bank in the country) today consultant to entrepreneurs against bank abuses, they tell of how writing has allowed them to reconvert lives that have so far reached an unsustainable crossroads.

Imperatore, autore di ‘Io So e Ho Le Prove’, un caso editoriale da cui è stato tratto anche un omonimo spettacolo teatrale, denuncia senza mezzi termini irregolarità e nefandezze del sistema bancario negli ultimi decenni e della sua attività di manager;
E raccontano, raccontandosi.
Tanto e senza remore.
Attraverso immagini e parole.

Imperatore, author of 'Io So e Ho Le Prove', an editorial case from which a play of the same name was also taken, denounces in no uncertain terms the irregularities and atrocities of the banking system in recent decades and of his activity as a manager;
De Vincentis, author of the autobiography 'Il Campo del Male', which could become a play and a film in the next future, is a dramatic cross-section, not without irony, of a piece of personal life, inside and outside prisons, but also of a piece of history of Naples itself.
Both Neapolitans, accompanied by an evocative original soundtrack based on voice and accordion (by Daniela Esposito), during the film the two meet, dine together, get to know each other, show mutual curiosity, open up.
And they tell, telling themselves.
A lot and without hesitation.
Through images and words.

Subtracting and deceiving have been, each in their own way, the main activities of their lives during all those years.
Both, at some point, they said enough.
And they both began to write and reveal what they had been, what they had done and the secrets of the worlds they come from.
